I parked next to this yesterday:
Imagine my surprise when this guy got out of it:
Ok, so it wasn’t that guy, but the driver was in his fifties. If I wasn’t in such a hurry, I would have stopped to talk to him.

It looked like a track day car that is still street legal. Full roll cage, rolled fenders with flares for clearance. In keeping with a more mature audience, he didn’t have any stickers to add horsepower.
I thought about taking more pictures, but I was in a rush and the guy was walking away. If I stood there taking shots, I’m sure he would have come back. He kept looking over his shoulder to see who was driving the WRX. I’m sure he was as surprised as I was - I’m no stranger to gray hair.

One way to know he isn’t a “bro.” The tires have reasonable sidewalls and the tread width is appropriate for the size of the wheel.
